Day 01 Delhi
Arrival at Delhi and visit the city which has seen the rise and fall of many empires which have left behind a plethora of monuments that the grandeur and glory of bygone ages . A city which traces its history to Mahabharata for the city of Indraprastha,evolving through a rule of Mughals and Finally the Britishers.Night at Delhi.
Monuments : Jama Masjid, Rajghat, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Laxminarayan Temple, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb.
Day 02 Delhi - Jaisalmer:( By Train)
Morning will be at leisure or to shop and see the city.
Proceed to the station for overnight train to Jaisalmer. Overnight in a train.
Day 03 Jaisalmer
Welcome the vast expense of endless desert and dunes.The hostile terrain not with standing the warmth and colour of people is simply over whelming. The beautiful havelis which were built by wealthy merchants of Jaisalmer are yet another interesting aspect of the desert cityThe desert citadel is truly a golden fantasy in Thar Desert. Roam in the fort area and explore the mystical city of Jaisalmer. Night in Jaisalmer.
Monuments :Jaisalmer Fort,Patwon Ki Haveli,Tazia Tower,Gadsisar Lake, Salim Singh Ki Haveli,Gyan Bhandar/ Library,Lodurva Jain Temple,Manak Chowk & Havelis,Nathmalji -Ki–Haveli, Wood Fossil Park, Aakal,Sam, Sand Dunes,Desert National Park, Bada Bagh,Mool Sagar,Amar Sagar.
Day 04
Desert Camel Safari
Proceed to the SAND DUNES by jeep after lunch for visiting the typical Rajasthani Desert Village. Start your CAMEL SAFARI from the village. Ride into the desert passing through small villages and grazing camel herds. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Reach your camp and dinner will be served in the camp. Night in a camp.
Day 05
Desert Camel Safari
Desert Camel Safari .Continue your safari through the desert. Start CAMEL SAFARI winding your way through villages and wildlife. On your way see the villagers starting their day and the womenfolk setting out to fetch water from the desert. The children would be going in groups to the school. Also pass by solitary temples at times. Night in a camp.

Continue your safari through the desert. Night in a camp.
Day 07
Desert Camel Safari
To Bikaner: By Road 200 km/3 hr
Continue your safari through the desert. Reach the nearest village and your jeep would be waiting there to take you back to Bikaner. On reaching Bikaner have a hearty lunch at the beautiful LAXMI NIWAS PALACE. Board the late evening train to Delhi.Overnight in a train.

Deshnok Temple ,Ganga Government,Museum Prachina Museum,Devi Kund,Camel Breeding Farm.
Day 08 Delhi:
Reach by afternoon and check into the hotel for freshening up and some much needed rest. In the evening proceed for the DANCES OF INDIA SHOW and then transfer to the airport for your flight back home. |
