Day 01/ Arrive in Delhi/Mumbai
Arrive Delhi/Mumbai, on arrival meet and transfer to Hotel. Night in Hotel.
Day 2/ Catch a flight to Trivandrum
Move to Kovalam (Trivandrum - Kovalam approx. 16 kms. ). Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches.. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamaran cruising etc. Evening enjoy the beach. Night in Kovalam.
Day 3/ Kovalam
Sightseeing of Trivandrum including excursion to Kanyakumari and also:
1. Padmanabha Swami Temple,.
2. Kuthiramalika, a palace of the erstwhile Composer King of Travancore, (closed on all Mondays).
3. The Napier Museum (closed on all Sundays & Wednesdays).
4. Shree Chitra Art Gallery, (closed on all Mondays & Wednesdays). The evening is free to relax on the Beach. Night in Kovalam.
Day 04/ Kovalam - Alleppey
Leave to Alleppey by surface 165 kms. On Arrival transfer to Kettuvallam (House Boat). Cruise start after Lunch on board and Night in house boat.
Day 05/ Alleppey - Kumarakom
Move out from house boat at Kumarakom and transfer to the backwater resor.Spend the day in leisure Night in Kumarakom.
Monuments: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls and the Vembanad Lake.
Day 06/ Kumarakom - Cochin
Drive to cochin 75 kms. And sightseeing.
Monuments:
1. Chinese Fishing Nets, The Hill Palace Museum, (closed on Mondays).
2. Santa Cruz Basilica, this historic Church
3. The Jewish Synagogue (closed on Saturdays & Jewish Holidays).
4. Mattanchery Palace (Dutch Palace), (closed on Fridays).
Return to hotel rest of the day free / shopping at Ernakulam. Night in Cochin.
Day 7/ Cochin
Departure Departure to airport for a flight to Delhi/Mumbai and to onward Destination later. |
